It is the global characteristics of Adapt (http://www.bond-jp.com/adapt.html), which include multilingual and multi-character set technologies, which the HR industry in Japan needs to embrace as it competes in the world marketplace for jobs, skilled candidates and clients.
Bond has continually invested in the research and development of Adapt since the company's inception in 1973. grooves and Bond Japan will work together on therevitalisation of the human capital business field in Japan through provision of their information and systems. Bond's Asia-Pacific Manager, Tony de Liseo, comments: "Even in 2009, when private recruitment agencies' sales declined sharply because of the global financial crisis, the number of nationwide private recruitment agencies in Japan increased to 18,379* an increase of 14.2% against the previous year. It is expected to top 20,000 in 2010 as the needs of recruitment are slowly rebounding. There are great opportunities for Bond Adapt, not only with well known major foreign-based recruitment agencies, but also with medium sized agencies. The partnership with grooves will enable Bond to provide a solution that will shape the future of HR in the Japanese and Asian marketplace."
